The most important Muslim City, the city of Mecca that receives tourists from
all across the world is located 72 kilometers east of Jeddah. The city has a well
developed system of transportation that are availed by the travelers from all

Mecca, walking around the city is one of the most popular means of getting around

Though most of the people prefer to travel in taxis there are a number of people
who prefer going by buses. Found in regular intervals and accepted as one of
the most economic ways of transportation the buses are the most convenient ways
of transportation at Mecca. As the closest airport is in the city of Jeddah,
there are taxis and buses running at short intervals and serving the locals
and the tourists who visit this part of the country.
