Asian Spa

Located at Fullerton the Asian Spa faces the Singapore River, namely the Marina Bay. It is bordered by the Cavanagh and Anderson Bridges ; its previous name was Fullerton Building . Constructed way back in 1928, it once housed the General Post Office.

The Chamber of Commerce and Singapore Club town were also housed in this building. But in 1998 endeavor was made to convert this building into a Boutique Hotel. In that case the Palladian architecture and classic Doric Columns were also needed to be preserved. Equipped with modern amenities the Asian Spa is a brilliant undertaking by Hirsch and Bedner.

It consists of 400 luxury rooms and dark woods have been used deliberately to enhance the calm spirit of Asian Spa. It is a unique blend of serenity and grandeur . The swimming pool and spa stretches across 10,000 square feet and the gym is located there. Asian and European thoughts find adequate expression in the Asian Spa, making it the best possible place for public entertainment.

The Dream Bath of Flower Petals is rejuvenating. It provides an opportunity for a chill dip into the scented water filled with petals. Flowers like Lavender and Marjoram are often used. A traditional wrap of Lulur is refreshing; it consists of a mixture of fresh lime, rice powder and flower extracts. These therapies have an elixir like property, and can make a hedonist satisfied with their serene touch.
