Getting to Singapore by Air: The Changi International Airport in Singapore is one of the most modernized airports in the world. As Singapore is one of the most important gateways to Southeast Asia, almost all major international airlines fly there. In addition to local and regional airlines such as Singapore Airlines, SilkAir, Tiger Airways, and Jetstar Asia, almost all major international airlines operate direct or connecting flights to Singapore. There are regular flights from Singapore to several destinations in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Australia and North America.
Getting to Singapore by Ferry: Regular ferry service connect Singapore to Tanjung Belungkor in Malaysia and Riau Islands in Indonesia. Though there are no direct ferries between Singapore and Indonesia (except Riau Islands), one can get high-speed ferry services from Batam and Bintan in Riau Islands to major port cities of Indonesia. The HarbourFront is the main terminal in Singapore where several cruise lines, including the world-famous Star Cruise, docks too.
Getting to Singapore by Road: There is an excellent road network between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Visitors can cross borders from the Causeway over the Straits of Johor. Several transport companies offer air-conditioned bus services between Singapore and almost all major Malaysian cities. Car and taxi services are also available between Singapore and Malaysia
Getting to Singapore by Train: As many as three daily trains run between
Singapore and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Trains arrive at and depart from the
Tanjong Pagar MRT station Singapore.
