Singapore Sentosa Monorail

The Sentosa Monorail is the chief way of transport of the island Sentosa in Singapore. This monorail was inaugurated in the year 1982 in the month of February. The monorail is operated in 14 cars which run in the unidirectional way on single loop covering important destinations of the island. The advantage of the monorail is that the tourists can avail the transport as many times they want while staying in Sentosa. There are seven stations covering the various parts of the island. The monorail was updated with Sentosa Express which came into operations in the year 2005.
