St Andrews Cathedral

Singapore is a delightful place to visit and you shall find numerous Churches and other places for worship at Singapore. St Andrews Church is one among the few, which sands elegantly in the hub of the Singapore city and also maintains a distinctiveness that is worth mention.

Although Singapore does not have many Natural Resources, it is evident that the place is replete with cultural structures that remind us of the rich legacy of Singapore. The St Andrew's Church had been designed specifically by an engineer named Colonel Ronald McPherson, after its demolition by atmospheric current.

This was due to the fact that the original structure was damaged and there was a need for the restoration of the church building. The Church Building was finally renovated in the year 1956. The Church collapsed due to the lightning of 1852, in which the entire original structure was disintegrated.

There are numerous artifacts and pictures with a Video Recording of the pictures of Church History that have been preserved for the audience to witness them. All these have been kept with extreme care in the Visitors Centre at South Transport Showcases, Singapore. Make it a point to see them, for they await our valuable concern.
