UOB Plaza Singapore

The two unique skyscrapers in Singapore is known as UOB Plaza in Singapore. They are the grand and elegant structures that deserve appreciation because of their charisma and elegance. The latter is shorter and older than the former. It was constructed in 1973, and there was a need for renovation in 1973. They are interconnected by a 45 meter long Podium that was itself supported by four columns. The UOB Plaza I is a 280 meter long Skyscraper and was completed in the year 1992.

With a Restaurant on the 60th floor, Si Chuan Dou Hua, the basement of the Skyscraper is a Mosque also known as the Masjid Moulana Mohammad Ali. This is a unique Mosque because it is located underground. The UOB Plaza II is another architectural grandeur. It has 38 floors, and is 162 meters tall. There are 38 floors in the UOB Plaza II. The architecture of the UOB Plaza in Singapore is worth mention. The towers have an octagonal pedestal, and comprise of swiveled cubic volumes. A six storey Podium links the two buildings and the Banking Hall UOB Plaza has a full height glass wall that enables the viewers within the Banking Hall to witness the River outside.
