The Singapore Island Country Club was formed in the year 1963 after the Royal Singapore Golf Club and the Royal Island Club merged. The Singapore Island Country Club in Singapore offers two excellent locations for the golf lovers, each with its own different charm. The Bukit location of the club is at Sime Road and the Island location is at Island Club Road. The Singapore Island Country Club is the second oldest club in Singapore and the club has four 18-hole golf courses, two courses in each of the two locations of the Country Club. Many major International Championships have been held in this club. All the four courses at the two different locations are well maintained. The extremely busy personalities, who cannot make out time to play during the day, are found to play at the courses even before sunrise. The first two holes in the courses of Singapore Island Country Club remain illuminated for the people who came very early in the morning.
