Singapore Polo Club

The Singapore Polo Club is one of the oldest clubs of the country. Established in the year 1886, this club offers extensive facilities for recreation to the horse riders.

The Singapore Polo Club is located on Mount Pleasant Road, away for the hustle and bustle of the city. The club has lush green surroundings and huge open spaces that are extremely beautiful to look at. The club was originally located in Balestier Road. However, due to the limited capacity of this place, the club moved to Mount Pleasant Road in the year 1941. During the Second World War, the Japanese converted this club into a gun emplacement area. However after the war, with the help of Lord Mountbatten, the Polo Club was restored to its former glory.

The Polo Club in Singapore is offers all the facilities for playing polo and equestrian sports. Apart from horse riding, the club also offers facilities for playing other types of sports like swimming, squash and tennis.
