What sets Hai Tien Lo Restaurant apart from other Chinese Restaurants in Singapore is the grand view of the harbor that it offers from the 37th floor of the Pan Pacific Hotel in Singapore. It was selected for a number of years as one of the 'Singapore's best Restaurants' published by the Tatler magazine.

Hai Tien Lo Restaurant offers a blend of tradition and modernity in its décor. The menu of Hai Tien Lo in Singapore offers a traditional Cantonese menu with specialized dishes and delicious meals. These include crispy roast chicken, Shark Fin Soup and abalone.
These dishes have the special western touch to it that makes it all the more appetizing. For instance, the smokes salmon is infused with peppercorn and other spices.

Some of the popular dishes here are Fried Shark Fin with Crab Meat, Sautéed Kobe Beef with fresh chives and Korean shemji mushrooms, pan fried New Zealand lamb steak with mint leaves, suckling pig and sweet and spicy octopus. Another special dish here is the 'Buddha jumps over the wall' which is a specialty reserved mainly for the Chinese New Year.
