Jayu Land, Busan, a very popular amusement park of the city of Busan is one of the famous tourist attractions of Busan. Jayu Land, Busan is located within the Busan’s renowned Taejongdae Park, which is located at the southernmost tip of Busan. After entering the Taejongdae Park, Jayu Land, Busan will come on the right hand side. Jayu Land, Busan is Korea’s one of the first modern and western style amusement parks. On May 1988, a private company opened this famous amusement park. Jayu Land, Busan covering a total area of 18,650 square meters is quite big and provides different types of exhilarating facilities for all its visitors. Variety of thrilling games available in this park makes this place an interesting attraction especially among the children. The Jayu Land, Busan has a unique feature called the 'House of Ghosts', which attracts not only the children but visitors of all ages. Hence this park can be called a family amusement park, where all family members of all generations can have fun. The other attractive things in the park include a bird park, where one can see plenty of colorful birds of different types. The park, filled with the sub-tropical trees of long tradition also has a small observatory along the coast form where one can enjoy the spectacular view of the blue sea and the surrounding rocks. Some of the worth viewing rocks are Sinseon Rock, Mangbuseok (depicting the story of a wife changing into a rock), and etc. Other important views include the Statue of Mother and Child, a lighthouse, and the Medical Support Team Monument on the left side. Park also contains few large and small sculptures and provides with several other exciting facilities like swimming pool for the visitors.
