Taejongdae Amusement Park Busan

Taejongdae is Busan's finest tourist attractions, is on the southernmost tip of Yeongdo-gu Island along the coast. Highest peak is about 250 m above the sea level; the seashore is embellished with superb rock formations such as Sinseonbawi, or the Rock of the Mountain God and Mangbuseok, or the legendary Rock of the Faithful Woman.

Taejongdae Park, Busan has incredible rocks and trees blend with the sea. Taejongdae Park is located in the southern most tip of Busan. Taejongdae Park, Busan is a famous tourist destination with an observatory, a light house, a cruise ship terminal. Taejong Rock occupies an area of 160,000 square meters. There are thick forests on the highest peak of the rock with over 200 kinds of subtropical trees including camellias and silver magnolias and pine trees. The unusual rocks and stones and the blue sea makes a beautiful view. On the observatory, tourists can look out not only on the Oryuk-do Islands and can see up to distances of 56 kilometers. You can see the Tsushima Island (Daema-do), which is under Japan. The circular road connecting the lighthouse, Taejong Rock and the observatory extends up to 4.3 kilometers along the coast and is popular and enjoyable for walking and jogging.

The Buvi train connects the square (terminal) with Taejongsa (temple), the entrance to the lighthouse, the observatory and Gumyeongsa temple.

Buvi train runs at 09:00 to 18:00.

Entrance to Taejongdae Park is free in the early mornings and at night.
The forest area is restricted between November and May.
