In 2001, EXCO Daegu was opened and since then it has always hosted first-rate exhibitions to catch the attention of foreign buyers and to promote itself in domestic and overseas markets. At present, EXCO Daegu is one of the major players in the field of specialized international exhibitions & conventions, which hosted almost 40 exhibitions.

EXCO Daegu accommodated the Junior Chamber International and the Asian & Pacific Council' (JCI ASPAC), which is an international event and many significant events like: 'the 10th Korea-China Amity Korea-China Businessmen's Meeting in 2002, the Korea-Japan Businessmen's Conference in April 2002. In addition, EXCO Daegu was selected as the main press center (MPC), the International Broadcasting Center (IBC) and a fencing competition field of the 2003 Summer Universiade in August 2003.
EXCO Daegu provides over 11,000? of highly bendable exhibition space, which arranged in a series of 3 levels: 1st, 3rd, and 5th floor. There is an exhibition hall on each level, which can be divided into two small halls. On the 5th floor, there is a column-free convention hall (with the space of 3,872?), which is specially designed for various large events like conventions, exhibitions, and music concerts.
