Daegu, Korea’s fourth largest city, is gradually becoming one of the most frequented locations, and people from all over the world are coming here to discover the wonderful land. An absolutely modern city, Daegu houses ancient national treasures, which form the major attractions for these visitors. Heritage buildings, stupas, pagodas, religious halls, and temples, form the basis of the tourism industry of this beautiful city. One such amazing site is the Buddha on Dongbong Peak of Mt. Palgongsan, Daegu.

This stone image is a representation of the Buddha of Medicine. Like the other stone Buddha on the Gwanbong Peak of the Mt. Palgongsan, the seated Gatbawi Buddha, the Buddha on Dongbong Peak of Mt.
