The collar of this statue shows the influence of the earlier age and an impressive decoration covering the whole body such as chest, two arms, knees etc., old style of wave pattern under the knees.
The Seated Wooden Buddha in Pagyesa Temple, Daegu is comparable with the seated mud-pasted Bodhisattva statues (Treasure No.993) of the Jangnyuksa Temple in earnest face, thick clothes.
