In addition to assisting the tourists visiting Daegu, Daegu Tourist Information Center (DTIC) also served as an excellent forum to publicize Daegu and Gyeongbuk tourist attractions to the world. The Daegu Tourist Information Center (DTIC)
remains open throughout the year and has English, Japanese, and Chinese speaking guides who give various information on topics such as transportation, accommodation, tours, tourist attractions, culture and so on.
Among other services provided by Daegu Tourist Information Center (DTIC), it also offers reservation and booking of tickets for trains and airplanes, from its travel agency counter that resides in the DTIC building itself. Daegu Tourist Information Center is located adjacent to the Outdoor Concert Hall in Duryu Park.
