Some of the popular Daejeon Parks and Gardens are:
- Saemmeori Park offers resting place, venues for musical concerts, exhibitions, fairs and different kinds of meetings.
- In Gubongsan Park, one of the Daejeon Parks and Gardens, you will be amazed by the Gapcheon river, the rugged terrain, maple leaves, cherry and the lush greenery.
- Seodaejeon Citizen's Park is another Daejeon Park and Garden that offers many cultural and community services. In 1975, the site of Seodaejeon Citizen's Park was specified as Migwan Square till the plan was changed before the '93 Expo.
- Gayang Park has two parts- Uam Sajeok Park, and Central Square, with dense forest, a water fountain, natural water springs, a tower, and Birae-jeong (pavilion).
- Gyejoksan Park in Daejeon perched on a mountain, has a Buddhist temple, an observatory, Daecheongho (lake), mounded tomb, temple ruins and Gyejoksanseong or the mountain fortress wall.
- Gwangro Park, one of the Daejeon Parks and Gardens, was built as a resting place for the locals in downtown Yuseong and it spreads across four acres offering drinking fountains, benches, a pagoda and natural stones.
- Galma Park in Daejeon offers you a soccer field, a basketball court,
badminton courts, a gateball court, a water fountain, an observatory, and rest
areas. Even cafeteria, a sports store, and an office are there in this park.
