Daejeon Philharmonic Orchestra has become one of the leading orchestra in Korea. It was established in the year 1984 and since then it has innovated and experimented with different genres of music with the help of Korean composers.

The Daejeon Municipal Dancing Company is the representative dancing company of Korea. It has popularized the Korean form of dance to a great extent and has played a major role in the development of the dance culture of the region by arranging various concerts over the years.

Daejeon Civic Youth Choir was established with the purpose of improving and fostering youth music culture among the youths of Daejeon, Korea.The Daejeon Civic Youth Choir provides great scope and opportunity to engage the youth in musical activities.

In the year 1998, Daejeon Civic Youth Choir gained international fame when it introduced Daejeon's music at the 14th Gumamoto international music festival for youth in Japan. The Daejeon Civic Youth Choir exhibited their fabulous voices and musical repertoire to the audience.
