Much has been done in the city of Daejeon, South Korea to promote the arts and culture of the land. The younger generations are being trained by various academies and institutes in the fine arts. To aid in such training, excellent infrastructure has been provided in the form of performance halls, excellent trainers and modern equipment. The Woosong Arts Center in Daejeon is one such concert hall. The Woosong Art Center (WAC) was instituted and opened up on the October 15, 1992. The Woosong Foundation played a key role in establishing the Woosong Art Center. A number of schools are associated and affiliated with the Woosong Art Center and the center aims at promoting art and culture in the entire Korean Community of Daejeon by grooming up students of these schools.

The Woosong Arts Center boasts of a capacity to seat a 1,216 member strong audience. The hall has been constructed with excellent acoustics that make every musical performance here a memorable event. Located amidst the premier schools of Daejeon, the Woosong Art Center is a three tiered auditorium. The concert hall of the Woosong Art Center is one of the largest in the entire region and hosts a number of cultural and entertaining programs. The natives of Daejeon revel in the vibrant and musical shows put up by the students and faculty of the Woosong schools. A number of classical and popular musical maestros have performed here and orchestras, bands and choirs prefer this auditorium due to the excellent facilities it provides. Among the other amenities provided at the Woosong Art Center are a projection screen and 35mm cameras. The hall is fitted with Dolby sound systems and is also let out for movie screenings and shows. A green room, practice hall, waiting lounge and parking space complete the requirements of a truly well planned Art Center.
