The country of South Korea is divided in four distinct regions of which the eastern region consists of high mountain ranges. Maninsan in Daejeon • The Maninsan Mountain is one of the high altitude mountains in entire Daejeon. The mountain has a recorded height of around ten thousand meters. • The Bongsuremigol Valley lies in the laps of Maninsan Mountain and from here originate the Daejeoncheon stream. The lovely mountain stream gushes down the valley and is wonderful to look at. • Maninsan enjoys four distinctive seasons. But the Mount Maninsan conjures up a spectacular image during the season of spring. The entire mountain range basks in the glory of new leaves, cherry blossoms and bright azaleas. • The Mount Maninsan Natural Forest is transformed with all modern facilities to create a green learning center, a fitness center, a picnic spot and a camping site. Apart from these there are numerous trails dotting the mountain site. So for a hiker the place is just great. • The Learning Center also houses an astronomical observatory, an aviary farm and an outdoor stage. The place is outstanding with its natural surroundings and is a great place for studying and carrying out experiments.
