South Korea Taxi Service
South Korea - Daegu - Incheon - Jeju - Seoul - Daejeon
South Korea Taxi Service is inexpensive going by international standards and is an expedient means of getting around the country. The taxis are classified into black deluxe taxis and silver taxis. The black taxis or the mobom taxis are painted black and a yellow sign glows atop these. The drivers of these black taxis unfortunately, are not too conversant with English. So it may turn out to be quite a task to explain them your destination. These drivers are friendly locals though, and these taxis are readily available at any time of the day. The silver taxis are inexpensive in comparison to the black ones though hailing one may be quite a difficult task. These taxis may refuse to take on a passenger sometimes or sometimes may demand higher fares than usual. A number of companies also let out cars on private rental. Travel agents and private hotels and resorts also let out cars on hire. Do remember to fasten your seat belt and carry your International Driving Permit in case you decide to drive a rented car in South Korea. Tourists are reminded that driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is considered a criminal serious offence and is punishable in South Korea.
