The proximity to the sea has enabled water sports in Incheon to grow in popularity. The various beaches in Incheon are where the water-sports enthusiasts gather and follow their passion. Some of the water sports that a person visiting Incheon may expect are- Waterskiing- One of the most popular form of water sports anywhere, waterskiing has many lovers in Incheon. The thrill of riding on the sea water at a high speed is what draws both the seasoned and the uninitiated to the sports; for the latter group there are training sessions lasting not more than half an hour which could obviate their lack of experience. Wakeboarding- Wakeboarding has come to be regarded as an extremely exciting form of water sports. It is different from waterskiing because a snowboard is attached to a motor boat. Fly Fish- Fly Fish is a triangle shaped rubber connected to a motor boat. Six people can ride on the fly fish as it runs behind the speeding boat. Pea Tube Boat- Pea Tube Boat can carry two people at a time. It is favored especially by couples. A pea nut boat ride is much more exciting because is movements are more varied. Banana Boats- Banana Boat is extremely simple but no less fun. Even those who do not have prior experience can enjoy the ride to the fullest. Scuba Diving/ Skin Diving- Incheon has very few places where scuba diving or snorkeling can be carried out. The best months for these water sports are between June and October, primarily because the temperature of the water is optimum. Swimming- Incheon has many public swimming pools as well. Many hotels have their swimming pools which they allow non-guests to use on an hourly basis. Most people prefer enjoy swimming in the sea water.
