Hanmaeum Cherry Blossom Festival Incheon

Cherry Blossoms in Korea are seen as the most beautiful herald to spring- a season which is much anticipated in the country. Thus when Cheery Blossoms appear in April after a hard winter, celebrations is only natural. Hanmaeum Cheery Blossom Festivals are celebrated in the month of April every year.

The venues for Hanmaeum Cherry Blossoms Festival are in the Jayu Park. The festival is marked by extremely entertaining performances like Beggars’ dance, live music shows by different bands from all over Korea, amazing songs by Jung-gu Choir, Wolmi Theme Wedding Show, Food Court and also Wolmi Health Run Contest in the Season of Cherry Blossoms.

Jaya Park is the popular venue for Hanmaeum Cherry Blossom Festival, Incheon. It is credited to be the maiden Western-style Park in South Korea. The Park has had many names in the past, each one so inextricably a part of Korean history. Jayu Park was got its present name after the Korean War. The Park has the statue of General MacArthur, which is famous among the visitors to the park.
