The Icheon Hapssal festival started way back in 2001 and is a celebration of the Icheon rice quality of which is known throughout the country for its superior quality and taste. The rice is also a celebration of the Korean nation as the rice is perhaps the best representation of the indigenous products that the country has ever produced.
