INCHEON LANDING OPERATION MEMORIAL HALL

The Incheon Landing Operation Memorial Hall is located in Ongnyeon-dong, Yeonsu-gu in Incheon Metropolitan City. The hall was also built in remembrance to the anniversary of the opening of Incheon Port in 1984.
The Incheon Landing Operation Memorial Hall consists of a lounge, an indoor and outdoor exhibition hall and a well defined stage. The hall displays a wide range of weaponry used during the Korean War. There is a wide range of armaments in display which represents the difference between the lifestyles and weapons used by North and South Korea.
The growth and development of Incheon after the Korean War is displayed through a wide screen. Outside the Landing Operation Memorial Hall there lies a memorial tower. Photographs taken during the Korean War is also displayed there.
The exhibition which is located outside the hall displays tanks, warships and guns that were used during the Korean War.
Incheon Landing Operation Memorial Hall can be reached conveniently from any part of the city. There are regular facilities of buses and taxies to reach the place. The hall has a free entry which helps the tourists to easily avail the knowledge of this cultural heritage. The hall is closed on Mondays and the New Years day. The timing of the hall is variable according to the season.
