Fairy Rock Beach is located at Yongyudo Island in Incheon. The Beach’s unusual name follows due to the collection of fresh water on the foot of a woman-shaped rock. Fairy Rocky Beach is not by any stretch of imagination the most popular among the beaches in the Island. Its charms lie beyond its sandy reach in the unassuming rock formations revealing the artistic aspect of nature. The residents of the Fairy Rock Beach hold the fairy shaped rock in high reverence and therefore show reticence in revealing the location of the rock. So visitors should not feel upset on not finding the Fairy Rock, the beach has other rock shapes to offer. Fairy Rock Beach, Incheon is not thronged by hordes of visitors and is therefore able to offer great peace and quietude. It is ideal for long walks. Fairy Rock Beach is one of the 8 scenic sites in Yongyudo Island and consequently a part of the tour itinerary to the island. Fairy Rock Beach can be reached by taking a taxi from Incheon International Airport. The beach can also be arrived at be availing a bus from to Eurwangri from the Airport: the stoppage for the bus would be Yongyu Seonnyeo Beach; on a normal day the journey takes no more than 20 minutes. One of the nearby attractions near Fairy Rock Beach is Haesoopia in Unnam-dong. Haesoopia uses sea water to provide saunas, hot springs and other healthy baths like mugwort baths and open-air valley baths. The sea water obtained is extracted from the depths of the sea and is considered to have higher content of important amino acids like calcium, potassium, magnesium etc. Taking bath in such water is considered extremely healthy since it is known to effect flushing of toxic waste from the body, thereby also increasing the blood flow.
