Sugi Beach is located on a tiny island at an easy distance from Seoul. The accessibility of the island is enhanced by the fact that it lies within few hundreds of meters from away Yeongjong-do Island and Yongyu-do Island, which are soon to have new airports. Sugi Beach area is believed to have been dwelt by people since the Neolithic Age; excavations undertaken not very long ago have evidenced the belief with remains of prehistoric earthenware made from sea shells. Sugi Beach in Incheon was once a part of the Goryeo Dynasty. It became a part of Incheon on March 1, 1995. Sugi Beach is not the most popular beach around the region; it is one of the many attractive alternatives that lie before a beach lover. The fact that it is overrun with people romping about is one of the reasons why Sugi Beach is preferred by families for picnics or bathing in the sea. The view of the sea from Sugi Beach is known to be especially beautiful. One of the key attractions of Sugi Beach is the famous house, where the popular Korean mini-series Full House was shot. Made mostly out of wood, the House was made at the cost of over a million US dollar. Full House is one of the most famous of the TV series in Korea; the popularity of the show draws people from all over Korea to this house. To reach Incheon from Seoul, one can take the Subway Line #1, alighting at Bupyeong Station one can get a train bound to Incheon on Incheon Subway Line and get down at Dong Incheon Station. On reaching Incheon take Bus #112 till Sammock Dock: from there one can take a passenger ship to Sin-do Dock. The ferry service between Sammok to the Sin-do Island runs between 7.10 in the morning till 7.10 in the evening.
