Parades are also held in the roads of Jeju. Then for the following week various cultural events and competitions are held, involving people of various age groups. Traditional contest, plays, music events, dance festivals, film festivals and Tamra traditional festivals are a part of the festivity of the Tamra Cultural Festival of Jeju. Apart from this, each rural community of Jeju compete with each other, presenting their regional mores and folklores on a common platform during this Jeju Festival. A highlight of the Tamra Cultural Festival, Jeju is the traditional Jeju song and dance performances. The synchronized movements of the dancers are surely a sight to behold.
