Seogwipo Jeju

Seogwipo, Jeju is an important city and tourist destination in the island province of Jeju. In the year 2006 the geographical extent of Seogwipo, Jeju was expanded to comprise the southern half of the island of Jeju. The Seogwipo, Jeju covers an area of 254.57 square kilometers and is home to 83,600 people and is the second largest of all the cities in the island.

Seogwipo, Jeju is know for two things, firstly diving and secondly the Seogwipo World Cup Stadium. The World Cup Stadium was the host to some of the matches in the 2002 FIFA World Cup. It is also used to host the home league matches. You can visit Seogwipo, Jeju by taking a bus directly from the airport. From the Jeju City also, you can take a bus to reach Seogwipo, Jeju, which has a special name, shiwae bus meaning outside city bus. This bus will take you to the Seogwipo in 45 minutes and cost 3500 won.
There are two buses you can take. If you are in a lot of hurry to reach Seogwipo, Jeju then take the bus with the number”5.16” as it takes a direct route to reach the city. But if you have a lot of time in you hands and want to enjoy a scenic ride to the city then you can take the other bus, which will give you a scenic ride to the Seogwipo, Jeju.
