Auguste Rodin was a famous poet, a philosopher, a miracle worker, and a magician who was also noted for his majestic sculptures. Though this museum does not host Rodin's best work, "Thinker", do not be disappointed as you can see some of the creations of this great artist. See the works that are housed in the Rodin Gallery. All of them have a touch of the great artist and has a depth that is hard to be ignored.
The museum that has been designed to promote culture and art is a part of the Teapyungro Renovation Project. The project has been designed to promote the region into a main cultural and art centre. The Rodin Gallery was opened first for public viewing in May, 1999. It is the 8th museum in the world that has been designed to exhibit the works of Rodin. See 'The Gates of Hell' and 'The Burghers of Calais'.
