Boating in Seoul is both a commercial and recreational activity. A cruise
along the Han is a pleasure for the tourists. Seoul, which is considered as
a symbol of 'Miracle on the Han river', provides an ideal set up for boating
facilities. Cheoggyecheon, the stream that runs through the valley emptying
itself in the Han River, was once filled with concrete. The effort of the metropolitan
Government to clean up the river and beautify it made it a fun-filled river.

developed along the riverside which are frequented by people to avoid the fatigue.

between the Mapo Bridge and the Goyang Si. It has 39 boats and 2 motorboats.
People come down in large numbers to have a boating stint
The Yangwha District, located in the southern end of Han, is a centre for rubber
boat training for members of sea explorers of Korea. Yachting, Wind surfing,
Canoeing, and Boating are enjoyed by visitors.
The Yeouido District , with 138 boats and 2 motor boats, gives enough opportunities
for boating. People throng this park as it is centered in the boundary of Seoul.
