Seoul has a well knit bus service network. Though the system is very efficient, the foreign visitors may face the language barrier. The English speaking customer care assistants will help you out with your required information.

The local buses cover entire Seoul city and even goes to downtown areas. They are a good way to get around but the buses are often over crowded especially during peak morning time. Depending on your destination, a ticket may cost between 400 and 800 South Korean Won.

If you however want a more comfortable ride then hop in to an Express Bus. With better seating, air conditioning and rack facility; this type of buses will take you to your destination quite fast. A ticket at this bus may cost you anywhere between 1000 and 1600 South Korean Won. Express Bus Terminal at Seoul is located at Panp'o-dong.

Seoul Bus Service runs daily from morning till 11 at night. There are some buses however that continue to operate till 2 in the wee hours of the morning. Generally buses have their rotes written in Korean, English and Chinese characters. There are some buses that have routes displayed in Korean only. If you are confused about proper bus route, do not hesitate to ask local travel agencies and local people.

The best way to reach Seoul's Incheon International Airport is by an Airport bus.
