Seoul Subway
South Korea - Daegu - Incheon - Jeju - Seoul - Daejeon
Seoul Subway system operates smoothly without any major problem. The numerous subway stations are located at very convenient locations. They are very easy to find and immaculately clean to say the least. One interesting thing about Seoul Subway is that, in some cases, trains journey above ground but in other cases, trains run through deep underground tunnels.
Compared to the time taken by an Express Bus, the journey through Seoul Subway System may take a bit long. However commuters like the journey because it is fast, efficient and most importantly completely free from congestion of the roads. The cost of ticket varies but usually a one way journey costs around 800 South Korean Won.
The subway entrances are marked in both Korean and English languages. The public address system makes announcements in both these languages. Though the trains follow a complex maze of railway lines, the system is surprisingly simple. Even a stranger can at once figure out which way to go. The subway exits open up to main streets. Some subway exits even meet with major malls and sporting facilities like Seoul's World Cup Soccer Stadium.
