It was the first Indian restaurant in Seoul then. Since then the restaurant has maintained the flavour and taste of the food. The restaurant imports all the materials directly from India. A visit to this restaurant will offer you the flavor of Indian food that no other food has got, just like the various Indian culture and customs which are mysterious and profound. It is the only restaurant in Korea having all types of food belonging to the 27 provinces of India. The restaurant allows its kitchen to be on display to the customers. You can see rounds of Naan bread being baked and long skewers of chicken and lamb pieces being turned on the grill as you pass the spotless, glass-fronted kitchen on your way to your seat. The restaurant looks out on to Itaewon Main Street from the third floor of the Hamilton Hotel. There's family atmosphere, piped Indian music and plenty of space. And the interior decoration comes straight out of Madras or Delhi. Elaborate carved wooden screens, coat stands and potted palms break up the red plush and gilt dining area which can comfortably seat one hundred and can be divided into private and semi private areas. The Menu includes starters like mutton samosa, dahi samosa, paneer pakora, dahi wada, papadum, aloo bonda, cashewnut chaat etc. Soups like chicken, asparagus, mushroom, tomato and vegetable are available. Sea food like prawn Masala, whole fried pomfret, fish amritsari, fish makhni, jhinga Masala etc Tandoori items include Tandoori Chicken, Tandoori Platter, Tandoori prawns, mutton boti kebab, kalmi kebab, fish tikka, Tandoori mushroom and vegetables, beef hussaini kebab etc Chicken specialties include butter chicken, ginger chicken, kadai chicken, chicken tikka Masala etc Sabzees like palak paneer, paneer makhni, mutter paneer, baigan bharta, dahi palak, chana Masala, mixed vegetable curry, kumbh mutter nawabhi etc are liked a lot. Rice and bread include naan, chapatti, kulcha, biryani, pulao etc. Mutton, beef specialties, set menus, desserts and beverages are also available.
