of the country. The Hi Seoul Festival is yet another multihued plume to
the cultural cap of the city. Seoul boasts of a rich cultural heritage nearly
six hundred years old. The city's cultural vivacity is once more reflected in
the Hi Seoul festival.

sees the accumulation of people of diverse cultures, places and community coming

the Sejong center for Performing Arts and some particular areas of Insa-dong,
Sinchon, Hongdae and Daehangno streets.
The Hi Seoul Festival is very young as it has come into being in the year 2003.
Since its inception the magnitude and the renown of the festival has spread
worldwide and tourists throng in here during the celebrations of this fest from
the four corners of the world.
The Hi Seoul festival showcases the dynamicity, history, custom and multiplicity
of Seoul to the world. While participating in the festival one can realize the
significance of the phrase unity in diversity.
The crowds flocking to Downtown Seoul during the festival are multihued and
very lively. The festival is basically celebrated to remember the birthday of
the Seoul city.
The citizens parade is the most attractive section of the fest along with the
pet competition, the traditional Japanese performances, bull fighting, Jongmyo
royal familial customs, lion dances of asia.
