Features of Sinse-dong Chilcheung Jeontap (seven-story pagoda) in South Korea
- Sinsedong Chilcheung Jeontap or the Sinsedong seven stories Brick Pagoda is located near the Goseong Lee head family estate,
- The pagoda measures 16.8 meters high with a width of 7.75 meters.
- Sinse-dong Chilcheung Jeontap was originally built at Beobheungsa Temple during the 8th c of the United Silla Kingdom and it is also the only remaining relic from the temple.
- The pagoda is presently located on the estate of the head house of the Goseong Lee family.
- The ornamental top portion of the pagoda has been completely destroyed but the lower tiered portions still remain.
- The lower portions are embellished with beautiful carvings of Buddhist tutelary deity.
- Traces of tiled roof were found on each story of the tower.
- Historical records show that the tower was rebuilt in 1487 and that around the same period, three parts of the temple remained.
- Sinse-dong Chilcheung Jeontap is open 24 hours all year-round.
- No entry fee is charged. Admission is free.
- You can take a bus from the Andong Intercity Bus Terminal to reach Sinsedong Chilcheung Jeontap.
- Go for the local city bus No.3, it will take approximately ten minutes.
- From Andong Station, walk towards the Andong Dam for 20 minutes and you will find Sinsedong Chilcheung Jeontap. Or, you can just take a 5 minutes' cab ride from the station.

- Since the pagoda is located near Goseong Lee head family estate as well as Andong Imcheonggak, you can conveniently visit these two sites also on the same day.
