Nightlife in Barcelona

Nightlife in Barcelona is flourishing and on weekends or special nights, some of the bars and nightclubs burst to the seams. Barcelona has some wild party scenes and enjoying a night out in Barcelona has the exuberance of enjoying and winning a long-distance race! However, one word of caution, go slow in the early hours of the evening, so that you are still perky and fresh to enjoy the wild party till the wee hours of the morning. Barcelona is slow but steady. Barcelona takes life as it comes, this is evident in the nightlife in Barcelona too. You can begin your evening out in one of the many bars and cafes in the city before going to a club. Keep in mind that the bars usually close at 3 in the morning.

It is best to go to a club in Barcelona around midnight. You can spend the early hours of the evening on the beach with a chilled beer. Barcelona has an excellent nightlife, its one of the best in Europe. There are always hordes tourists who frequent every kind of night club available. Nightclubs vary from jazz to tourist techno trash. You can visit Barri Gotic & Las Ramblas which are centrally located in the city. The atmosphere of medieval Spain attracts many newcomers and tourists to this place. Innumerable clubs, bars and pubs are found in the gothic area. You can check out Rita Blue on Plaza SANT Agusti, which is good. It is a funky bar, restaurant and club. Try out Bosque de los Fades meaning "The forest of fairies", which is a small pub and cafe near the wax museum at the end of Las Ramblas.

Nightlife in Barcelona also means some time out in Maremagnum. This is a waterfront shopping center is Barcelona's biggest mall. Half are shops and half are clubs. During the day time, you can enjoy a nice stroll with friends over the narrow wooden walkway from the end of the Rambla. But in the evenings and at nights it is a different story. You will find innumerable clubs and pubs offering everything from Techno to Irish pubs to Salsa. Prices are somewhat on the higher side but usually there are no cover charges and the party continues……..
