Blue Mandalay Restaurant
Spain - Barcelona - Seville - Valencia - Madrid
a restaurant with a difference since its very inception. The restaurant was established
at a time when most others were rushing to interiors designers specializing in
swanky European designs; Blue Mandalay Restaurant’s interiors were commissioned
to Clementina Liscano who chose to take recourse to Feng-Shui not only to follow
a different course but also to create a subtle mood. Blue Mandalay Restaurant
is the first Restaurant to bring pacific-rim cuisine to Barcelona.
Many see Blue Mandalay Restaurant as a perfect blend of the orient and the
occident both of which seem to take up war like posturing in the melding of
designs and then suddenly tread on the delicate path of harmony. The décor
in Blue Mandalay Restaurant is indeed about creating harmony out of odds. Bamboo
is used profusely creating an Asian effect, which is broken with number of paintings
which are distinctly European in taste.
Some of the recommended dishes in Blue Mandalay Restaurant are Hanoi Duck with
Chinese Mushrooms, Tuna tataki along with Natural mango, Vietnamese roll, Pumpkin
and leek cream with cinnamon and coriander for garnishing.
Blue Mandalay Restaurant is also famous for it extensive collection of wine;
especially popular are the wines from Spain.

usually accompanied by an engaging performance by artists on the trapezium.
