Location of the Royal Botanical Gardens, Madrid: The Botanical garden is located in the Plaza de Murillo and is situated right next to the great Prado Museum.

It has helped the discovery of various new plant species and has been a major contribution in the field of botanical science. Apart from this it also exhibits a fascinating collection of plants. The Royal Botanical Gardens was declared to be the Artistic Garden in 1942. The garden covers an area of about 20 acres.

The beautiful plants provide a soothing ambience and you also get to learn important lessons on the preservation of our ecosystem. The botanical Garden also carries out extensive research for promoting the health of then plants that it showcases.
Timings: the Garden has different opening and closing hours for winter
and summer. In winter, the Garden is open from 10am to 5.30pm and in summer,
the place opens at 10.00am and closes at approximately 8.00pm.
