Para Gliding in Seville
Spain - Barcelona - Seville - Valencia - Madrid
The Para glide used for the flight is a free flying, foot launched aircraft. The person in charge of the glider sits himself in a harness which is suspended under a fabric wing. The shape of the glider is formed by the pressure of air which enters the vent situated in the front of the wing.
With the help of a paraglide you would be able to chart the length and breadth of Seville's awesome countryside. The mountain villages lying in the foothills of the sierra Morena mountains appear to be extremely picturesque. The sight of the River Guadalquivir shining with the specks of sunrays falling on the water and flying over the historic monuments and gleaming grand mansions of Seville are simply bewitching. Paragliding over Seville is like discovering an altogether different side of Seville. By using a paraglide one can cover at least 300 kilometers of Seville geographical boundaries.
Using a paraglide is easy and even if you are a beginner a quick crash course
is readily available. The gentle slopes of Morena Mountains are the perfect
launching ground for the paraglider to take off. The sun setting against a mountainous
backdrop spreading its loveliest colors and the birds flying back to their nests
are the priceless sights that can be captured while paragliding in the skies
above Seville.
