Seville Taxi Service
Spain - Barcelona - Seville - Valencia - Madrid
Features of Seville Taxi Service
- Seville Taxi Service is fabulous to get around the
city, although a little more expensive than the bus.
- When you are taking a cab, look for the green light
on top which means the taxi is free.
- Most of the cabs are fairly new and offer enough
room for two with plenty of luggage.
- If you need a van or larger taxi, you can generally
reserve one by calling ahead. If you need a taxi for the airport very early
in the morning, it is advisable to call the night before and make a reservation.
- Usually, the short cab rides cost between 3 to 6€
for two people.
- If you happen to travel from the airport to the center
of town or the opposite, there is now a flat rate in effect for taxis.
- The charge is 18€ during the day and 20€
during holidays, Sundays or at night after 10 p.m.
- If you can't find cabs on the street, taxis can be
found in the main plazas of the center in registered taxi stands.
- The best locations for finding a taxi are -- Plaza
del Duque in front of El Corte Inglés, Plaza de la Encarnación,
Plaza Alfalfa and Plaza de Cuba.
- Extra charges are added for luggage handling by piece
and on holidays, Sundays and late night rides.
- 4 people are generally the maximum to be allowed
in a taxi.
- Taxi drivers prefer smaller bills to larger one.
- Drivers here do not expect tips, but rounding off
the change is normal.
