Cabalgata De Los Reyes Magos & Epiphany Festival in Seville refers to the celebration on 5th and 6th January as the Epiphany or the Day of the three Kings. Hispanic tradition says that gifts are given on Epiphany instead of on Christmas Day. So you will find the children waiting for the Reyes Magos, or Three Wise Men. These kings are believed to have brought presents to the good kids and sugar candy coal to the naughty ones.
The festival includes either the traditional Play of the three Magi or newer forms like the gorgeous parade or procession. There are many places spread across the country, where plays are staged like in Aledo and Churra in Murcia and Canada in Alicante.
