Triana is an important district of Seville, the greater city of Andalusia (Spain), adjacent to the district of the Remedies, located just in one from the accesses to the city. The Guadalquivir River is the border between Triana and the rest of the city. Triana is the district of the "people". It is located on the other side of the Guadalquivir, a bit away from the tourist center. The main tourist shops are situated around the Giralda and the Barrio Santa Cruz. Mercado De Triana in Seville is situated over the river great little market in what was once the poor gypsy quarter of the city.
