Brazo Del Este Natural Area in Seville is located 20 km. south of Seville in the Guadalquivir river estuary area. This is an area with one of the highest levels of biodiversity in the entire Iberian Peninsula. This former brazo or branch of the Guadalquivir is located to the este or east of the river. It is now a reed-fringed lagoon and wetland area surrounded by rice plains and farmland.
