The Blasco Ibanez House/Museum, Valencia is located by one of the classiest beach resort areas of Valencia, the Malvarrosa beach. For the past few centuries people have been gathering here for nice beach picnics or fun outings. It also has villas built by the affluent to spend their vacations here and one such villa is that of Vicente Blasco Ibáñez. He is the writer of bestsellers like "Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse" and an activist who is the pride of his hometown, Valencia. Hence the state government decided to preserve his residing place along with its belongings. Thus the Blasco Ibanez House that was built in 1902 was revived by the Town Council and turned into the Blasco Ibanez Museum of Valencia.
