The Museo Catedralicio Diocesano, Valencia is housed within one of most emblematic architectures of the city, the Valencia Cathedral. It was founded way back in 1761, by the archbishop Andrés Mayoral and it is actually the oldest of the museums in Valencia. 'The Farewell to Saint Francis' of Borja, and 'The Condemned' is also kept here. Of all these the most significant work of art are two large paintings by Goya created in 1799.

Some of them are 14th-century Gothic, Los Apóstoles door, and the 'Christ of the Good Death' by Alonso Cano. It is actually a Chalice made of gold and agate and is thought to be the Holy Grail itself. Found from a monastery in Northern Aragon, the Santo Caliz has a very special place among the exhibits of the Museo Catedralicio Diocesano.

Museo Catedralicio Diocesano, Valencia also showcases articles like the documents once owned by the Popes of Valencia like Calixto III and Alejandro VI. It exhibits bones, clothes, thorns, and even blood belonging to the saints. Featuring in the relics are also items made of gold, silver and other valuable jewels left behind by the royal people.
