The Museo de la Ciudad, Valencia is housed within one of the most fascinating 19th Century architectural building. The Museum building was earlier the palace of the Marquis de Campo. The Museo de la Ciudad of Spain has a huge collection of over 1039 pieces and 77 books, some even dating back to the 15th century. Everything here is arranged in sequential order according to its date. The Museo de la Ciudad, Valencia is actually believed to have one of the most wide-ranging and valuable collections in the entire country. Among these the noteworthy section of the City Museum of Valencia is its archaeological segment. The objects displayed here belong to the time when the city was established, hence put together the artifacts actually present a concise history of Valencia. Apart from this it also houses some of the masterpieces of artists like Miguel Esteve, Jose Vergara, Salvador Tuset, Ingancio Pinazo, Mariano Benlliure and many others.

Timings: From Tuesday to Saturday the Museum is open from 9:15 am to 2:00 pm
And from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm
On Sundays and other Holidays it is open from 9:15 am to 2:00 pm
The Museum remains closed on Mondays
Admission: No entry fee required
