Related directly to the Fallas Fiesta of Valencia it displays the extremely absorbing art of making 'fallas', which are huge models made of cardboard, wood and plaster. In fact Valencia even has whole district deicated to the fallas artists called the Fallero Artist City in the Benicalap region of the city. Artisans living here simply excel in the art of making these exquisite Ninots, which are usually caricatures of any characters ranging from people to animals and birds and to even cartoon characters. These edifices are actually meant to be set on fire during the city's most important annual festival La Fallas Fiesta, Valencia. Taking place every year specifically between the 15th of March and 19th of March, it is a very lively festival, including wonderful costumes, dazzling fireworks and lots of local delicacies. The Museo del Artista Fallero, Valencia displays some of the models that had been actually used in the festival but was not burnt. Closed on Sundays and other public holidays. Admission: Entry charged but discounts are given to students with ID's and Children below the age 12 with valid age proof. They also offer confessional rates to large groups.
