SIGHTSEEING IN KAOHSIUNG

Kaohsiung is an important city of Taiwan. This city is known for different heavy industrial establishments that are located there. The city of Kaohsiung is also referred to as the Harbour Capital of Taiwan. The city is situated in the southwestern part of the island of Taiwan. It is also the largest port of Taiwan. The area of Xin Xing or Hsinhsing is a very popular area of Kaohsiung. It is famous for its nightclubs, bars etc. This area is always buzzing with activity and life. It is very popular amongst the young population. There are two popular markets as well. These are the Xin Xing Market and the Liu He Night Market.

The Kaohsiung International Airport is located in Xiao Gang or Hsiaokang. This Kaohsiung Park is popular among the tourists and visitors of this place. This place is home to many industries as well.

The Hot Spring of Bulaobaolai is another tourist destination. This place is known for its therapeutic attributes and is also a place where one can visit to unstrain ones own self as well.

The Buddhist Center of South Taiwan is located in the Tashu village, which is a part of the city of Kaohsiung. This place is known as Fo Guang Shan. This center was started by Master Hsing Yun along with his disciples.
