SIGHTSEEING IN LU TAO

Lu Tao is one of the off shore areas of Taiwan. It is a beautiful island with many tourist attractions as well. This island is also referred to as Green Island. It falls with the Taitung County Township. This island can be reached either by air or via ferry as well. Some of the popular tourist attractions for sightseeing of this place are:

One of the major tourist attractions of this place is the Kuanin Cave. Kuanin is the local goddess of mercy and people worship the goddess every morning. The cave has a stalagmite image of Kuanin as well.

The Nanliao Port is another important place in Lu Tao. This place has provisions for hiring two wheelers, which is the most convenient mode of transport in this island as well.

The beach of Tapaisha is another tourist destination of Lu Tao. This place offers provisions for both snorkel diving and normal diving as well.

The Lighthouse of Green Island is very popular as well. The lighthouse is situated on the Northwestern corner of the island. The main island of Taiwan can be viewed from here as well.

Hiking is also possible in this small island. It is an exercise which is very popular among tourists. Hiking is possible till the Peak of Huoshao Mountain. Another very interesting activity that can be performed in this island is fishing. Both boat fishing and off shore fishing is possible and one can perform which ever is most suitable for ones own self.
