Hsinchu Taiwan
Facilitating trade exchanges between Taiwan and the mainland of China, Hsinchu is a busy city with a population of 500,000 people. It is essentially a factory town manufacturing electronic units. The traditional industries of glass and rice noodles have also survived well in the city.
